At Rigby Dental, Drs. Bradley Rigby, Chris Evans, and their colleagues love helping patients achieve the smiles they have always wanted. One of the most popular treatments we offer in West Jordan and Sandy, Utah, is laminate veneers. These ultra-thin restorations are a wonderful solution for anyone looking to enhance their smile. We know you probably have many questions. Here, we address several commonly asked questions regarding laminate veneers, so you can feel knowledgeable and enthusiastic about your upcoming smile transformation.
Laminate veneers, as described by our team, are very thin, custom-made shells created to cover the front surface of your teeth. They are typically made from high-quality porcelain, which closely mimics the look of natural enamel. If you have been struggling with chipped, discolored, or uneven teeth, laminate veneers are the solution you are looking for. They are designed to look flawless and blend seamlessly with your natural smile.
Laminate veneers are a fantastic option for many of our patients at our office; however, they may not be right for everyone. They are ideal for covering cosmetic imperfections, such as stains, small gaps, or chips. But if you have severe tooth decay or gum disease, those issues need to be addressed first. Drs. Rigby, Evans, and Knight provide a thorough consultation to determine if laminate veneers are the best option for your needs.

When properly cared for, laminate veneers can last 10–15 years — or sometimes even longer. Regular brushing, flossing, and visits to our office keep them in top shape. Additionally, porcelain is highly stain-resistant, ensuring your veneers remain bright and beautiful for many years to come.
Taking care of your laminate veneers is as simple as maintaining good oral hygiene. Brush and floss your teeth daily and avoid biting down on hard objects, such as ice cubes or pens. Do not forget to schedule routine checkups with our team to ensure your veneers and your natural teeth stay healthy.
Absolutely! One of the best aspects of laminate veneers is their natural appearance. The porcelain material is translucent enough to mimic the way light reflects off real teeth.
If you have been asking yourself, “Are laminate veneers good for me?” you will be happy to know that the answer is often yes! They are a long-lasting solution that dramatically enhances the appearance of your teeth, boosts your confidence, and improves your overall quality of life. Many of our patients report that their veneers were one of the best investments they have made in themselves!
