Welcome back to The Lasting Smile. Thanks so much for staying with us. I am joined now by Dr. Brad Rigby of Rigby Dental.
Thanks so much for being with us. Absolutely. Thank you, Robin.
Tell me a little bit about your practice. Yeah. So I’ve been in practice for over 20 years in the West Jordan area, and we just continue to grow and expand. And we just opened a second location in Sandy, Utah, which is just in the south part of Salt Lake Valley.
Now, where did your interest in implants come from?
I’ve always wanted to do implants, even from when I started dental school. I looked and found this company called Hybridge, and, you know, through my implant rep, it’s a faster, simple solution to a long-lasting smile that you’re getting more implants, it’s less expensive for me, less expensive for my patients, and it can be done in as few as three appointments.
Talk a little bit about the people that, you know, would be a good candidate for Hybridge. What’s going on in their lives? What are some of the stories you hear?
Oh, there’s so many stories. Some of it is poor genetics with their teeth, so their teeth, you know, they’re constantly going to the dentist and having cavities and root canals and crowns, and eventually a partial denture turns into a full denture. A lot of the stories that I hear are they’re not able to eat and chew things.
What is the transformation these patients make when they go through the Hybridge process?
The transformation is huge. The self-esteem, the confidence they have, you know, it’s something that’s not going to last just a few years, it’s, you know, it’s meant to last the rest of your life. We’re able to replace 12 teeth on the top, 12 teeth on the bottom, you know, doing one or the other, or both, and, yeah, it’s six implants on the top and five on the bottom.
My little 2-year-old when he saw that my teeth were removed, he says, oh daddy. No, it was a heartbreaker.
Name’s Jason Besendorfer. I’ve been a tattoo artist slash student for the last 25 plus years, genetically and predisposed to dental problems. Teeth are what people see when they look at your face. It’s the first thing that they’re drawn to is a person smiled. I was looking at implants and that’s where Dr. Rigby and I landed. I’m looking to smile ear to ear, the day I have them
Ready. Now he’s got a fix prosthesis that he’s able to eat and chew pretty much anything he wants. Today’s a good day. Let’s get him a mirror.
Oh my gosh, guys
The staff is so kind. I couldn’t recommend anybody other than this place to anyone.
