Straight teeth without a bunch of metal sounds pretty awesome, right? Well, at Rigby Dental, Dr. Rigby helps both teens and adults get there using clear aligners for teeth. Maybe you’re a parent who skipped braces in high school and now want a straight smile. Or your teen wants to get a head start on a more perfect smile. Whatever your situation, Dr. Rigby’s got you.
Back in the day (before smartphones), how much time did people spend looking at themselves? If you were in high school in the 1990s before smartphones, you probably spent some time in the morning fixing your hair or makeup. Then, glanced in the mirror throughout the day for touchups.
But no one was obsessively looking at every detail of their face and smile. But now, teens take selfies and post them to social media for the world to see. And critique, unfortunately. If your teen is self-conscious about their smile and would be more so with metal braces, clear aligners may be exactly what you need for them.
Clear aligners are made from SmartTrack, which is a smooth and comfortable thermoplastic material. No wires and brackets poking your cheeks and the inside of your lips anymore. Is your teen in the band? If they play an instrument like the French horn or trumpet, braces can take a real toll and can even affect their playing.
OK, so we know clear aligners are comfortable. And discrete. But they’re also the best option for two more reasons: eating and brushing.
Teens are busy. Practices. Homework. Social life. Sometimes a job or responsibilities at home. Taking a few hours out of a school day is inconvenient and can really jack up their week. With clear aligners, there are fewer visits to the dentist than with braces.

Your smile is as unique as your fingerprints. So you’ll get a customized solution with Dr. Rigby. It’s not a one-size-fits-all situation. Here’s how it goes:
Traditional braces: Expect 18 to 36 months. But with clear aligners, you can be done in as little as four months. 18 in more complex cases.
