| Dr. Bradley Rigby appreciates all of his patients! To show some of his appreciation and return something to them, the Rigby Family Dental Patient Appreciation Day was held at Cowabunga Bay by Draper Town. Patients from West Jordan, South Jordan, Midvale, Sandy and other cities showed up to join the fun and excitement.
Cowabunga Bay had just opened and the rides were brand new. Water was pouring down from everywhere and getting soaked was easy. The main features in the park were the water slides, which varied in height from kiddie sized to adult.
There was also a looping pool like a river, which carried patrons on clear single and double-sized flotation tubes, which were supplied by Cowabunga Bay.
The looping water way emptied into a wading pool, which also served as one of the entrances. The pool provided a gradually sloping decline, which served well for kids and others to enter easily.
Two huge "popcorn bucket" containers slowly filled with water over time, then dumped collosal amounts of water on the patrons below. Smaller versions of these water buckets were spread throughout the rides and up the stairways to keep everyone wet. Water hoses could be found in different locations to spray the people down below.
There was little chance of staying dry while carousing the pool and slides areas. Even those who floated in the sun in the looping water way were doused by various water spraying features, such as from the back of a VW Bug that sprayed water like a lawn sprinkler.
Toward the end of the day, Dr. Rigby held a drawing for his dental patients, which drew a large crowd of excited, happy patrons.
The prize table started out overflowing with goodies and fun things to give away and became bare after a grand showing and many names were pulled from the bucket.
We were pleased to have so many patients of the Rigby Family Dental Center show up for Patient Appreciation Day, and to have so many participants in the prizes giveaway. The drawing ended with a Rigby Dental T-Shirt toss and some high-jumping enthusiasts, who we hope to see wearing them around town!

Patient Appreciation Day was a great and an enjoyable time to share with the families and patients of Rigby Family Dental Center. We hope everyone will remember this day and look forward to another inspired Patient Appreciation day in the future.
