Dental Implant Services

If you have lost or are missing a tooth, a dental implant is the best option for replacing it. Dental implants are a titanium cylinder that replaces the roots of a missing tooth, a strong and safe material that effectively attaches to bone. They preserve your bone and tissue, have a 95% success rate and there is no risk of decay. Dental Implants serve as the artificial root to which new teeth are bonded. The procedure to insert dental implants typically involves three steps: the implant insertion stage, osseointegration (the period of healing for the jawbone, typically 3-6 months), and the attachment of the restoration or new tooth (crown).

Dental implants are changing the way people live. They are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. A person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything, knowing that their teeth appear natural and that their facial contours will be preserved. Implants are designed to fuse with your bone, so it is a permanent solution. Patients with dental implants can smile with confidence.

Dental implants don’t require reducing other teeth, like a tooth-supported bridge. This makes it so that more of your own teeth are left intact, improving long-term oral health. Individual implants also allow easier access between teeth for cleaning.

FREE Consultation- Call our office to schedule a free consultation. We will take an x-ray, and the dentist will meet with you to discuss your needs and expectations.
Treatment Plan- We will create a customized treatment plan based on your needs. We will go over any insurance benefits if applicable, and financial options available.
When you are comfortable with the treatment plan, we will schedule you for your appointment to have your implant placed.

~Placing a single implant will generally take 30-60 minutes. Bone grafts, extractions, or sinus lifts may require additional fees and time. If this applies to you, we will have already discussed this at your prior appointment.
~In some cases we are able to place the abutment and crown on the same day the implant is placed. We will discuss if this is an option for you during your treatment planning phase.
~If you are not a candidate for a same day implant and crown and you are concerned about the space the missing tooth will leave, we can make you a flipper – A flipper is an optional, temporary retainer used to fill in any visible gaps during the time it will take to heal, and is available at an additional charge.
~After the implant has healed for 3-6 months, we will see you again to create your crown that replaces the tooth. The dentist will make sure it fits comfortably and looks natural.

Guarantee – If your implant or crown is uncomfortable or breaks within the first 5 years, please contact our office for a free adjustment or replacement.

Most patients only require local anesthesia for this procedure, which won’t make you nauseous and doesn’t prohibit you from driving yourself home. We also have Nitrous available, as well as other options if dental anxiety is present. These will also be discussed during your treatment planning phase. What Is Laughing Gas? (Nitrous)
